Canyoning Rio Pombeiro

Description

The Pombeiro River, a tributary of the Paiva River, is one of the most technical and complete routes in the country, as it offers us countless sensations and experiences. With translucent and crystalline waters, it presents a diversity of transpositions that are overcome through jumps into the water, several rappels, several waterfalls, of which we highlight the spectacular waterfall of Pombeira and a transposition that is an exciting and pleasant “Cave Surprise”.

It is located in the middle of the Magic Mountains, with an overwhelming granite landscape and rusticity, located between the villages of Lamelas and Codeçais, on the southern slopes of Serra de Montemuro, 10 minutes from Castro Daire and in the heart of the spectacular “Pombeira Adventure Park”.

This route, which is about 900 meters long, is very complete, as it is multifaceted.

It is a river for which we recommend previous experiences in rappelling, however, if necessary, we will provide this training before the activity begins.
